Gigi Leung has decided to go for a sexy new look. Her last concert which concluded two days ago, revealed a sexier side, and some dirty dance moves for her latest song. The audience went wild as Gigi has never befored revealed any part of her body.

Gigi said regarding this performance, “It is my first time taking this risk! My movements are big so I must add many unlined upper garments just in case. As long as I reveal my waist only briefly, its OK to me!”

Song Hye-Kyo has fallen deep into her first big screen role. At a high school in Busan, Song Hye-Kyo, 23, has transformed into a student, and meets Cha Tae-Hyun for the first time. She has started filming her debut movie, ‘Blue Alert’. Although Cha Tae-Hyun shot a prologue scene on the 17th, it was on the 23rd that Cha Tae-Hyun and Song Hye-Kyo had their first scene together.

“Blue Alert” is a screen adapation of Japanese author Katayama Kyoichee’s bestselling book, “I Shout My Love from the Center of the World,” which was widely popular in Korea as well. In Japan, the book has been made into a drama and a movie. The movie of the same name was shown in Korea as well. But “Blue Alert” will be different from the Japanese movie and will be adapted to fit Korean tastes.

According to one of the movie reps., “We had to start with the school scenes since it won’t be too long before school sessions resumes,” adding that “We’ll be shooting in Busan until the end of this month and then we’ll be shooting for the rest of the time in Goeje Island until the end of October.”

Song Hye-Kyo plays a tragic figure struck down by a fatal illness. But the ambience in the movie is one of comedy and melodrama mixed together so we will be able to see the entirety of her refreshing charms. Song Hye-Kyo spent the entire summer taking scuba lessons and was otherwise absorbed in preparing for this role

 geisha

Zhang Ziyi was personally selected for the lead role by Steven Spielberg, who is the head producer of Memoirs of a Geisha. She will star with Ken Watanabe, Gong Li, and Michelle Yeoh in the long awaited movie adaptation of Arthur Golden’s bestselling novel.

Set in a mysterious exotic world, which still casts a potent spell today, Nitta Sayuri (Zhang Ziyi) tells the story of her life as a geisha. It begins in a poor fishing village in 1929, when, as a nine-year-old girl with unusual blue-gray eyes, she is taken from her home and sold into slavery to a renowned geisha house.

We witness her transformation as she learns the rigorous arts of the geisha: dance and music; wearing kimono, elaborate makeup, and hair; pouring sake to reveal just a touch of inner wrist; competing with a jealous rival for men’s solicitude and the money that goes with it. Despite the treacherous Hatsumomo (Gong Li) who nearly breaks her spirit, the girl blossoms into a legendary geisha under the guidance of her mentor Mameha (Michelle Yeoh). Beautiful and accomplished, Sayuri captivates the most powerful men of her day, but is haunted by her secret love for the one man who is out of her reach, the mysterious Chairman (Ken Watanabe).

Jackie Chan vs. Jet Li

I’ve been waiting all my life for Jackie Chan and Jet Li to battle it out on the big screen. Both aren’t getting any younger. Jet Li is 42yrs old and Jackie Chan is 51yrs old. It looks there might be a chance before the two of them retire. In a recent inteview, director Zhang Yimou’s partner producer Zhang Weiping stated they were working on a new project with Jackie Chan and would ask Jet Li to join the cast as well.

The film would definately not be comedy based. Jackie is pretty excited about the project but awaits to hear what Jet’s thoughts are. Jet Li has stated recently that “Fearless” would be his last martial arts movie project, unless there’s an exceptional script in the making. The two of them have mentioned time and time again in the media that they would love to work on a project together. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Jet Li has annouced that the official U.S. movie name for his Huo Yuanjia Biopic will be Fearless. Somewhat loosely based on the life story of Chinese martial art master Huo Yuanjia (1869-1910), the film tells how an arrogant young street fighter becomes a symbol of patriotism. Jet Li has said this film would be a conclusion for all his martial art films, and unless for a project really good, he would stop making any more martial art film.
