Samsung Phone with NVIDIA Tegra

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Other data to be removed from the interview were the presence of AT & T or T-Mobile in some way on the project, and a groundbreaking price of $ 199, which I doubt this very moment.

NVIDIA Tegra is promising and has good looking, for example now use Microsoft Zune to HD.

Has as its main features with the ability to play 720p video, and the presence of an integrated GPU that provide 3D acceleration beyond what we have in the market, all with an excellent battery management.

Samsung HMX-U10

Friday, July 17th, 2009

The Samsung HMX-U10 ($200) is the ideal solution for the consumer looking for ultimate portability and ease‑of‑use in an HD camcorder.

The HMX-U10 offers full-HD video recording with 1920×1080 resolution.

The HMX-U10’s 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor also gives consumers the ability to capture impressive 10 mega-pixel digital still images, all which can be reviewed on the camcorder’s clear, two-inch LCD screen.

At 56mm x 103mm x 15.5mm, and weighing just 95g including the battery, the HMX-U10 is ultra-compact with an ergonomic design that breaks free of the traditional look and feel of pocket-sized camcorders.

Samsung’s T*Omnia praised by Ballmer in Korea

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Steve Ballmer definitely gets around, last month taking a trip to the UK just to mock Android, this month heading all the way to Korea to praise Samsung’s new T*Omnia. He says it’s “at the forefront of this new generation of mobile devices,” and digs how it “brings together communications, productivity, multimedia, and entertainment in a way that meets the needs of both consumers and mobile professionals.” We think he’s most fond of its operating system (WinMo 6.1), but must admit we’re smitten by the handset too — especially its 800 x 480 screen. That’s more than twice the resolution of the older Omnia, which by the sounds of it will be released in the US sometime this month. Samsung didn’t actually say which Omnia, but since it’s the older one that’s been FCC approved don’t go holding your breath for WVGA goodness. Lucky Koreans, meanwhile, can expect the T*Omnia to start being served up by SK Telecom on November 20.(via Engadget)

Samsung GX-20 DSLR

Samsung’s GX-20 DSLR has taken a rather roundabout route on the way to release — first getting leaked on a Norwegian website and then getting official in Korea — but it looks like things are really pickup up now, with Samsung announcing the camera for the UK and, thankfully, providing all the details this time around. As we knew before, the DSLR is a 14.6-megapixel number, with a 2.7-inch live view LCD, RAW and JPEG modes, sensor-based image stabilization, and ISO settings up to 3200, among other equally impressive specs. What’s new this time around is the all-important price (£699, or just under $1,400), and some of the finer details, including word of two new lenses for the camera. What’s more, as Digital Photography Review points out, this announcement also confirms that the GX-20 is, in fact, essentially the same camera as Pentax’s just-announced K20D, with the Samsung boasting only a few minor cosmetic changes and, according the company, its own JPEG processing.
