Trend #1: Floral is back!

Being feminine and flirty is in once again, from the catwalks of designers such as Ralph Lauren, beautiful dresses and flowing gowns abound. Want to incorporate this trend, but don’t know how? Then follow these tips: a) Add a great accessory, such as a silk scarf or hair clip, to jazz up any ensemble; b) Start basic with a floral screen print t-shirt or maybe an appliqué on jeans and pants; c) Draw attention with a floral print on your shoes, this works best with a pair of pumps with at least a 3″ heel; d) Go bold by wearing a floral print dress.

Trend #2: Bright Colors & 80’s Glam!

The influence of the 80’s is back in a reincarnation of encouragement to wear bright colors. This is a great trend for both men and women to embrace. Here’s how: a) Ladies, add a bright plastic bangle, funky shoes , or glittering barrette to give you a kick; b) Gentlemen, add bright colors through accessories such as sunglasses, belts, and watches.

Trend #3: Go Metallic!

From glam golds to shimmering silver to blushing bronze, metallics are in this season. Since they are the new neutral, they can easily replace your drab taupes and beiges. This is an easy trend to take hold of, for women, handbags and footwear is the best place to start. For men, accents, such as belt buckles, ties, and sunglasses can add the extra zing.
